COVID-19 INFORMATION

Our response to Covid

Between March 13th 2020, when schools closed in France for the first COVID-19 lockdown, and the end of the 2019-2020 academic year, Open Sky International’s teachers taught its curriculum totally online in its Paris school. Our unique and immediate response meant that our students were able to follow all aspects of the curriculum and their learning. As lessons were live, seeing their friends and classmates every day helped very much to support pupils emotionally during a very difficult time. Our online teaching also helped parents who needed to work from home to better manage the lockdown and support their children with their learning. You will find more details on our response in the following article:

Our sanitary protocol

At the start of the 2020-2021 school year, our school in France resumed “normal” teaching and learning and since then has been able to maintain a very high standard of safety for our pupils and staff by adopting a very high level of security measures, including the use of masks or visors, hydro-alcoholic gel and the daily disinfection of the premises. Although obviously we hope that this does not happen, we will be able to revert back immediately to teaching online if necessary to ensure that our pupils do not miss any learning with their teachers.

During the lockdown, pupils benefited from several lessons via Zoom each day. All of the school’s curriculum was delivered and as a result none of the pupils were penalised during this difficult period.
