Open Sky International est une école internationale privée bilingue anglais – français située à 5 minutes de Paris, à Boulogne-Billancourt. Open Sky International Paris est historiquement une école maternelle et primaire bilingue anglais – français. Un collège bilingue a été ouvert en septembre 2017, suivi du lycée en septembre 2022.
Notre mission est de fournir aux enfants les outils nécessaires pour réussir dans un monde ouvert et mondialisé, pour qu’ils réussissent en France, dans leur pays d’origine ou partout ailleurs dans le monde. After completing a Master’s in Education in Paris and working for two years in Nice, Alexane spent ten years in London where she qualified as a teacher. In England Alexane worked in an excellent public school for nine years, initially as a teacher and then as Head of Department. Teaching is a passion and a vocation for her, and creating and providing a fulfilling environment for our students to learn is her priority.

As a dedicated teacher with an honours degree in English and Philosophy and a PGCE in teaching English, Kevin has over 20 years of teaching experience. He excels in roles that allow him to help students realise their potential and achieve success. His skills include creating lessons that enable students to perform well in examinations. Kevin wanted to come to OSI as he believed that working in the school was a fantastic opportunity for a teacher and he was excited by the possibility of contributing to its development.

As a French speaker, Kenza has a technical degree in International Trade and completed a one-year work placement in Toronto, Canada, in order to obtain her diploma. She continued her studies in English, obtaining a Bachelor's degree after a teaching placement in Torquay, in a Grammar School in England. She also obtained her Master’s degree in English. She has been teaching FAL for 5 years. As a teacher, Kenza loves sharing her knowledge, giving her students self-confidence and seeing them progress.

He has a CELTA qualification and enjoys teaching languages and contributing to the academic education of students through the school's programme. This is why he wanted to become a teacher.

Sharon has been a teacher for over 15 years with a focus on teaching lower primary classes. She completed her PGCE in Education at the University of Sunderland and has taught in primary schools across China and Hong Kong before relocating to France. Sharon has been a part of the Open Sky International team for the past two years. What she loves most about her role is the opportunity to inspire young minds and create a positive learning environment. Her passion for teaching stems from a deep desire to help children reach their full potential.

Liza has been teaching at Open Sky International for eight years. She is a teacher who passes on knowledge with passion and loves to help her students make progress. Liza has been teaching for more than twenty years, and with her experience she brings a great deal of joy and knows how to put students at their ease with her clear explanations. Liza is a creative teacher who organises art workshops for her students and she also runs a singing club and accompanies her students on guitar.

Philip studied for his BA Hons (Education) degree in London and chose science and ICT as his subject specialisms. During this period he taught in a number of London schools and held different roles including subject leader for ICT and mathematics in his home region of East Anglia, England. Since joining the school, he has taught EAL, Year 3 and Year 4. He loves to share his enthusiasm and deep interest in science and other subjects with his students.

Nathalie has a Master's degree in French as a foreign language and has been trained in communicative and action-based methods. She has 25 years' experience teaching French to children, teenagers and adults. Nathalie is passionate about teaching and is committed to developing each student's potential through active, creative and fun teaching activities.

Marie-Laure holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Literature and Language with a major in Language Sciences and a Master's degree in Arts, Literature and Language with a major in Linguistics. She began teaching in China in 2007, then went to Tunisia before returning to France. Passing on knowledge, enabling learners to understand the concepts of the language and having access to French literature for inspiration are the foundations of her vocation as a teacher.

James is from Newcastle upon Tyne in England and received his teaching degree with Honours from Leeds Beckett University, specialising in science. Before joining Open Sky International, he taught in Yorkshire with most of his former students having English as a second language. He also taught for a short period in Nigeria, which gave him a taste for international teaching. He has taught children from two to 16 years old and became a teacher in order to pass on his knowledge to future generations.

Through the years, Caroline has impacted countless students, many of whom have pursued careers that require strong language and communication skills and she remains a passionate advocate for the transformative power of language learning.

Her career path has taken her from France to the UK and Spain, enabling her to develop dynamic teaching approaches tailored to each student’s needs. Marko is a physics and mathematics teacher by profession, a physicist and philosopher by training and a writer in his spare time. He has taught in independent and state schools in the UK and Croatia, and international schools in France, China and Italy. Following his master's degree in physics, he took a further philosophy of science degree at the London School of Economics. Marko makes mathematics, science and philosophy more accessible by writing articles for magazines and giving talks and has published a popular science book on physics. He also writes poetry in Croatian and English.

Darren is a business and economics specialist who has taught in secondary education for over 25 years. He was formerly a curriculum leader for 'work related education', when he worked closely with industry to link the academic curriculum with real life businesses. The aim of this was to help students think critically for themselves as current consumers and future employees and entrepreneurs. Darren is also an entrepreneur who has established and run successful companies that support adults to obtain training and qualifications to advance their professional careers.

Since beginning her career as a trilingual executive secretary for a range of high-level sector leaders, Lydia has worked in London in the banking and energy industries, in France as a consultant in setting up foreign companies and again in the energy sector, and in Spain in the cultural sector as part of the General Management and Dramaturgy of an opera company. Lydia tells us that the diversity of the tasks carried out at Open Sky International is what makes the job so attractive - there's not a day when you can get bored!
